With pharmacies across Wales now able to apply for a second round of funding to support investment in automated prescription collection, Daniel Jones of Gowerton Pharmacy has shared his story of success with the Pharmaself24.
Daniel only recently opened the doors at Gowerton after a lengthy application process, with the contract for the new pharmacy finally approved in September 2020.
It was always a part of Daniel's plans to provide patients with the convenience of a 24/7 prescription collection service, and the technology has been incredibly well received by the local community - not least because of the benefits it has provided during the pandemic.

The Welsh Government is currently inviting applications from pharmacies for a second round of grants to support uptake of automated prescription collection. It is part of a funding scheme designed to help contractors in their ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
